The IWTC to take place May 3rd-9th in Antalya, Turkey

This year, and for the first time, Turkey will host the Invacare World Team Cup. The event will be staged on the clay courts of the Club Ali Bey Antalya / Manavgat on the Turkish Riviera from May 3 to 9, 2010.

Sport, Competition, Symposium and Turkish hospitality

The Invacare World Team Cup is the premium team wheelchair tennis event in the world. The presence of international athletes during the competition week serves to illustrate our “Yes, you can” attitude. Top elite Tennis will be present as well as over 30 nations and 300 athletes.

Invacare Europe is the partner of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and is thrilled to be able to offer greater levels of support and more sponsorship opportunities.

Rainer Küschall, former athlete and founder of küschall AG will be the official ambassador of the Invacare World Team Cup.

The Invacare World Team Cup is the ultimate combination of world class wheelchair sports and ‘can-do’ mentality.

Symposium “Sport: a platform for an active lifestyle”

For 2010, Invacare will hold its third international Symposium in English. This year the topic will revolve around “Sport: a platform for an active lifestyle”.
With this event we plan to invite European dealers, therapists, prescribers, persons within the wheelchair society, Turkish Governmental people, Turkish Sport associations and Turkish prescribers.

The symposium will take place on Thursday afternoon, May 6th from 14.00 to 17.30 in Manavgat close to the AliBey Club Tennis Centre.

Invacare Night of the Stars

On Friday night May 7th, at AliBey Club in collaboration with the Club Entertainment Team, Invacare will organise a show starring international artist and performers featuring Küschall and Top End wheelchairs. Many surprises to discover!

From Thursday to Saturday, our guests, wheelchair users staying at the Club, tennis players and all guests from the Club AliBey will have the opportunity to test drive our products.

Throughout the entire week the latest models will be displayed in the show-room and repair station located on the tennis venue.
