Invacare ® Europe is supplied by 15 Centres of Excellence :

12 in Europe, 3 internationally. These are the manufacturing sites where experts in clinical design, engineering, manufacturing and quality work together. Each site specializes in researching clinical and customer requirements to supply a particular product category world-wide.

Product innovation teams

European Product Innovation Teams design new products to meet changing customer requirements.

These are supported by the Invacare ® Research and Development Division, based in the USA, who invented the "Gear-less motor", "Sure Step^TM", and the innovative new Homefill^TM concentrator as well as many other patents.

Quality manufacturing

All medical products within the Invacare ® range are approved to the CE mark standard prior to launch. This includes not only rigorous testing and risk assessment, but also ensuring that all relevant user and service information is in the local language.
Invacare ®'s European product ranges are routinely approved by leading European test houses. These include TUV, Cerah, Handikappeninstitutet, NF, TNO and many others.
In addition Invacare ® runs its own rigorous tests in nine test centres : Elyria - USA, Bridgend - Wales, Høng - Denmark, Diö and Anderstorp - Sweden, Tours - France and Porta Westfalica, Isny and Albstadt - Germany.
