The fixed commode chairs come in two options: as wheeled transit wheelchairs and in the form of folding shower chairs. 

Transit commode wheelchairs serve multiple purposes. They facilitate easy wheeled transport to and out of the toilet, can be used as shower chairs and can also act as standalone commodes, thanks to their sanitary pans. 

The folding commode models are ideal when space-saving is of importance. These commodes can also act as over-the-toilet chairs or as bedside commodes and come in low-key design for convenient storage and transportation. Some models are foldable while others neatly stack on top of each other.

The adjustable seats of these commodes make them very customisable to the user’s comfort and needs, also allowing for the use of the chair over the toilet or as a portable toilet chair. Some transit models also come with adjustable armrests and footrests, delivering an added adjustability and comfort for the user and carer.

One of the most essential features of these commode chairs—their comfort, is ensured by their ergonomic padded seating and large cut-outs for the intimate areas, which facilitate easy access for hygiene routines. A‌ bariatric model is available which can support up to 160 kg and features seven-step height adjustment. 

Liftable armrests, footrests and caster brakes on the transit models care for the easy and safe transfer of users in and out of the commode chair. 

A range of accessories such as seat and back cushions, abdominal and chest belts, and pot covers, bring additional safety and optimum comfort for the user.
