We are pleased to announce that last week Invacare Europe and Asia Pacific engaged in a new collaboration with community pharmacies to bring independence, dignity, and reassurance to people living with mobility challenges. 

The announcement follows Invacare’s partnership and support of the pharmacy community at the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) – 83rd FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences held in Copenhagen. The event gathered over 3,500 pharmacy leaders and confirmed the growing role of community pharmacies as accessible, frontline healthcare providers. By working with pharmacists and their associations, we are initiating partnerships to make our solutions more available at the very places where people already seek advice, support, and everyday care.

This collaboration signals a new chapter in community-based care. Pharmacies are increasingly recognized as trusted health partners, offering services that go far beyond prescriptions — from preventative screenings to everyday wellbeing advice. With the world’s population rapidly ageing, and more than 1.5 billion people expected to be over 65 by 2050, the demand for mobility and homecare solutions will only intensify.
