Colin, Jarvis, Josh and Nathan visitThe challenge starts on Wednesday 5 February, with riders cycling from the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff to the Aviva stadium in Dublin in time for the Ireland v Wales kick-off at 2.30pm on Saturday 8 February.

The Invacare® Top End®Force 2 handcycle was presented to Josh Davies and his fellow cyclists Dai Mathias and former Wales rugby captain Colin Charvis by Invacare’s General Manager UK Operations Chris Bevan.

Chris Bevan said: “We are extremely pleased to be able to assist in this fantastic event, and we wish the team the very best of luck.”

Josh, who was paralysed from the waist down in an accident two years ago, said: “It’s going to be a tough challenge but I can’t wait to get practising. I’m really looking forward to the adventure, and raising funds for the valuable work of Shelter Cymru.”

Andrew Jones, fundraising manager at Shelter Cymru, said: “We are stunned, both by Josh’s dedication and by Invacare’s generosity in supporting him to take part in this challenge. It’s going to be a great event and we can’t wait to get started.”
