Invacare introduces the new Action2 Basic to the Action family

The Action® family range of wheelchairs has evolved over many years to become a trusted brand synonymous with quality, durability and intuitive design. To complement the range, Invacare is delighted to announce the addition of the new Action2 Basic – a simple and affordable wheelchair without compromise.

The Action2 Basic comes in three standard sizes allowing for quick and easy adaption to the user. Its reclining backrest feature is operated by a simple handle with a two-step process, allowing for a smooth recline action. The shape of the backrest has been designed to accommodate a range of individual body shapes whilst providing additional comfort for the user.

The balance of steel and aluminium used in the construction of the Action2 Basic ensures the weight of the chair is kept low. This, in addition to the swing away and removable armrests – which are ideal for transfers - makes the Action2 Basic easy to handle, transport and store.
Additional features include:                             

  • 3 standard widths - 405 / 455 / 505 mm
  • An anti-tipper for added safety on slopes or when the backrest is reclined
  • A headrest support to provide added comfort when the backrest is reclined
