Invacare, one of the world’s leading mobility and medical device manufacturers, has launched a digital scooter visualiser to the European market.
The innovative online tool allows users to customize any of the scooters from the OrionNG and CometNG range in the comfort and convenience of their home. They can focus on a particular scooter and view information on its technical performance, including data on driving range, top speed and maximum weight capacity. When they’ve matched the appropriate model for their requirements, they can then customise the aesthetics of their scooter by selecting their preferred choice from a range of up to 13 colours and over 25 accessories to fully match their personality, style and flair.
When they are happy with their design, they can save the configuration for later, or they can generate a unique code which may be forwarded to either a friend, or to their nearest dealership to speed up the selecting and ordering process.
Ashton Evans, EMEA Group Product Manager for Scooters & Walking Aids at Invacare said "At Invacare, we offer a wide range of mobility scooters designed to fit a range of body shapes and sizes. But this visualiser goes one step further. The scooter visualiser from Invacare is the first of its kind ever developed and gives user the freedom to design their own customised mobility scooter, without having to spend hours browsing through the showroom. The visualiser is the result of many months hard work by the Invacare teams and I am very proud to launch it today.”
The digital visualiser gives the user unique and complete control over the appearance of their mobility scooter, whilst making a bold statement about style and independence.
