It’s important to note that the Bodypoint family of products is rigorously tested and fulfils a range of standards like ISO, ANSI/RESNA and EN, among others. An example of the supreme performance of these systems is the breakthrough approach to padding. The pads used in Bodypoint’s hip belts, Ankle Huggers, and non-stretch harnesses feature the ultra-durable Cordura nylon and proprietary edge biding which eliminates wrinkles, thereby preserving skin integrity. This is also available in the Standard Style of the Pivotfit shoulder harness.
As of the harness itself, it brings excellent postural alignment and support properties, featuring a body-contouring shape. It is equipped with a swivel buckle which equalises tension for a proper fit and with configurable multi-directional pull tabs which can be used as front-pull or rear-pull. The Pivotfit shoulder harness by Invacare is available in two styles—Standard, non-stretch for more stable positioning, and Dynamic, which encourages movement, helping with spastic tone.
