Invacare expand their complex rehab offering with the Storm4 Ultra Low Maxx and the Storm4 X-plore Ultra Low Maxx

Following on from the successful launch of the Ultra Low Maxx on the Invacare TDX SP2 in June, Invacare is pleased to announce that the power positioning system will now be available on the Storm4 and Storm4 x-plore power wheelchair bases.

The Ultra Low Maxx, is designed to bring unparalleled levels of adjustability, comfort and support to users with complex needs.
Key features of the unique power positioning system include:

  • A class leading Extended Shear Reduction (ESR) mechanism, combined with a raised pivot point and specially integrated backrest, to ensure a stable position for the user is maintained throughout the entire recline cycle.
  • A unique width and depth adjustable seat platform which can be fine-tuned to fit changing user needs.

These key features will integrate with the established Storm4 power wheelchair bases to provide even the most demanding users with superior levels of configurability, adaptability and functionality.

The new Invacare Storm4 Ultra Low Maxx and Storm4 X-plore Ultra Low Maxx will be available across Europe from January 2016.
