We are pleased to announce the innovative Action Ampla has been granted the Platinum A’Design Award in ‘Differently Abled and Seniors’ Assistance’, design category by the international Design Academy, the grand jury panel of the A’Design Award & Competition consists of influential press members, established designers, leading academics and prominent entrepreneurs worldwide. This world-class award was granted based on the functional needs, interaction and performance that not only provides unchallenged beauty but also a design that creates a strong emotional impact.
 

We are proud to announce that not only has the Action Ampla won this prestigious award but also receives the Gold German Design Award 2020 in the category ‘Excellent Product Design - Medical, Rehabilitation and Health Care’.
 

Lastly the Action Ampla has also been awarded the distinction for high design quality in the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2019. The Action Ampla received the Red Dot, which the renowned jury only awards to products that feature an outstanding design. The Red Dot year book statement by the jury read “Despite its oversized dimensions, the design of this wheelchair achieves an impressively sporty and agile appearance”.

The Red Dot Award: Product Design is one of the world’s largest design competitions. In 2019, designers and manufacturers from 55 countries entered more than 5,500 products in the competition. The international jury comprises experienced experts from different disciplines and has been convening for more than 60 years to select the year’s best designs. During an adjudication process that spans several days, they try out the products, discuss them and ultimately reach a well-founded decision regarding the design quality of the entries.
